Cannot pay medical bills, behind on mortgages & car

I am a 55 year old married man. I have always been able to pay all our bills and be generous to others and some organizations. I was layed off from my job in mid January aand have not been able to find another. Part of the reason is that I need to have hip replacement and live in constant pain. I have been carrying the medical insurance from my previous employer and in mid July should be able to start the process of getting surgery. My insurance company has refused to pay for my Dr. appointments, blood work, etc. involved in taking care of regulating my blood with coumadin. I had mini strokes 2 years ago. At this point I am in arrears to the drs. of more than $4,000. I am 2 months behind on my 1st mortgage, 3 months behind on the 2nd, and 2 months on the car. Between my wife's salary, her social security, and my unemployement we are able to keep up with the regular monthly bills. We have dipped into our retirement accounts and at this point have less than $20,000 and am close to retire age. I would love to find some kind of help.
